Hey everyone!

In your haste to sign up and start chatting in the All-In Lounge, you may not have paid quite as much attention to the Rules as you should have. Shame on you, but I can understand your hurry so I'll let you off this once!

Now that the frenzied excitement of the sign up process has subsided, why not take a few minutes to read over all those paragraphs you clicked to say you agreed to without ever actually reading properly?

Should you have any questions regarding the rules, then please ask away and I or one of the other hostesses will be happy to help.

All-In Lounge Forum Guidelines

Updated: July 20th, 2004

Although the Administrators and Hostesses (Moderators) of the All-In Lounge will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, we cannot be responsible for message content. All messages express the views of the author. The owners or the representatives of the All-In Lounge may remove, edit, move, or close topics they feel do not follow the rules.

There is a link at the bottom of each Thread that enables a User to contact a Hostess. Use it if you believe someone's post violates the forum rules, but please use it discriminently. Please familiarize yourself with the rules prior to using it.

We are pleased that despite of our growing numbers we continue to remain extremely friendly to both new members and regular visitors. When posting in the forum keep the following in mind:

1) Please use good judgment when choosing a Username, avatar, or images to post. Material that is obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, racist, hateful, threatening, or contains inappropriate content whatsoever will be removed without notice. Do not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, racist, hateful, threatening, or otherwise violative of any laws because this will be grounds for removal from the All-In Lounge forum.

2) Challenge others' points of view and opinions, but do so respectfully and thoughtfully. Personal attacks, rudeness, or insults will be grounds for removal from the All-in Lounge forum. Any member who threatens another member on the forum, via PM, or Email, will be removed from the All-in Lounge forum.

3) Do not post the same thread in more than one forum. Pick the most relevant forum for your post. If you are unsure, put it in the “Cocktail Lounge” forum (Off-topic), say you are not sure where it belongs, and a Hostess will move it to the proper forum for you.

4) Our Hostesses receive a large number of messages containing questions, and they do not have time to answer all of them. Private messages should only be used for issues that cannot be discussed in the public forums. Please post questions you may have in the forums, and usually the experienced members will help you with them.

5) Advertising or selling of any kind is not allowed in the forums out of respect to our members’ privacy. This means NO SPAM. If you are interested in advertising, contact your favorite Hostess and we’ll point you in the right direction.

6) The All-In Lounge is not responsible for anything you do as a result of information or advice obtained at this site. Do not give anyone your Login information, Passwords, or personal account information.

7) Do not ask for, offer to supply, or post links to copies of commercial software, MP3s, movies, CD Keys, Product Keys, Serial Numbers, etc., or other intellectual property for which you do not hold the copyright. Do not post full copies of copyrighted articles from elsewhere on the Internet; post a link to the article instead.
Additionally, please be careful when using links that are provided by someone else as they may lead to a Worm or Virus. Regretablely, not everyone on the Internet is a nice person and some get their jollies doing harm to others.

8) Avatars are automatically cropped to fit our program so don’t be surprised if it comes out smaller than you desired. Uploaded avatars have a limit of 100x100 and 10KB. If you want help creating an avatar or resizing images, post a question on the forum asking for help. There are several members who will be happy to assist you.

9) Creating multiple user accounts or flooding the board with Off-topic messages will be considered a denial-of-service attack on the forums and will result in your being banned from the forum and reported to your ISP.

By becoming a member you agree to adhere to these guidelines. These guidelines are subject to change and a current version is always available in the forums. Members that violate these rules are subject to removal from the All-In Lounge.

Posting is a privilege and not a right. Respect your privilege and enjoy the right.
